During the Meta Connect 2023 event earlier this year, the tech giant unveiled plans to introduce an AI chatbot to WhatsApp. Initially accessible to a select group of users residing in the United States, a recent report by WABetaInfo reveals that the latest WhatsApp beta for Android now features a convenient shortcut button. This button allows users swift access to the company’s AI-powered chatbot without the need to navigate through the conversation list.
Positioned within WhatsApp’s ‘Chats’ section, the new AI chatbot button sits atop the ‘New Chat’ button. However, it appears that this AI chatbot functionality is currently limited to a specific user base, with no specific information available regarding its broader availability.
